Bad Type Society was created to showcase the best handwritten type.

When we say ‘bad’ type we don’t mean the stereotypical definition of ‘bad’. We are referring to typography that sits outside the realm of prim, proper and perfect. The kind of handwriting that might have ‘needed improvement’ in school. The kind that doesn’t look like it was created with a computer or a program.

Our definition of bad type is type that is messy, erratic, quirky, cute, wild or something else entirely - it just has to be handwritten.
